What is Sore Feet For The Beat?

‘Sore Feet For The Beat’ is a website dedicated to a charity walk taking place later this year. Donations initially helped raise money for ‘The Beat Goes On’, an appeal which was created to crowd fund a statue of Ipswich Town legend Kevin Beattie outside of the Portman Road ground. Now the statue has been paid for, the walk is now raising monies for the Kevin Beattie Foundation. The statue is planned to be unveiled in the near future.

Who was Kevin Beattie?
Sir Bobby Robson worked with some of the finest footballers the world has ever seen but whenever he was asked to conjure a list of the very best, he never failed to include Kevin Beattie.
WE WOULD SINCERELY LIKE TO THANK THE FOLLOWING SPONSORS AND CONTRIBUTORS TO OUR CAUSE
How can I help?
There are a number of ways you can help our appeal, and we’re truly grateful to everyone that helps us honour Kevin Beattie in the way that we feel he truly deserves.
